2007....what a year!

How is it possible that one year could be the best and worst year of your life? I wondered the same thing...but alas, 2007 was just that for me. The best part was, of course, marrying my wonderful husband. I could not have asked for a more perfect wedding....it was everything I could have ever wanted and more. Our honeymoon was awesome as well. We drove down the Pacific Coast Highway, staying in Santa Cruz, San Simieon and Long Beach and ended it with a 3 day Baja Mexico cruise. It was absolutely amazing!
And alas....it was also the worst year of my life. Approximately one month after our wedding my oldest daughter called to tell me that she was 9 weeks pregnant. Needless to say I wasn't exactly excited about this....she in no way can afford a baby and she barely moved out less than 5 months before that. I tried to talk to her about the situation but all she could "hear" was how unhappy I was and proceeded to tell me she hates me and always has. Now...I know that most of you are thinking, it's just hormonal, but it's not....she has always been like this with me. I figured she would come around but she didn't. So I won't go into it anymore...you all know the story. I am hoping that I get to be a big part of Brayden's life though. Here is a picture of Brandi that I managed to take on Christmas......she wasn't too thrilled posing for me either.

2007....it was the best of times, it was the worst of times.

Happy New Year!! Here's hoping for an awesome 2008 for everyone.
