Let's Catch Up.....

Now that I have a little bit of time I thought that I would do a catching up blog.......this is what has been happening in the last couple of months.

Thanksgiving was spent in Tahoe....where I got to meet the lovely Kelly's family. Sorry...I forgot to take pictures of that, but here are some Tahoe pics from our trip.
In September my kids took their very first plane ride....thankfully it was just a short one from Sacramento to Washington for their dad's wedding. Ashley was pretty nervous but she did just fine when it was time to finally board the plane.
And of course this year was my son's first year on the varsity football team. He did pretty well......considering he was only a junior he had a starting position on the kick off team. He was also named 2007 Outstanding Defensive Scout Leader for the team at the end of the season banquet.
October 30th was Tony's 16th birthday...we took him and some of his friends to pizza and glow bowling. They had a blast.....the kids were still talking about all the fun they had a month later!

October 20th was also Homecoming for both my son and DH's daughter....and they go to different schools! Here is DH's daughter and her date....Here is Tony and his date....Tony and the group he went with...
In August we went to Country in The Park...which is exactly what it sounds like, a country concert in the park. Here's Sawyer Brown....Bucky Covington....Kelli Pickler....And the wonderful headliner was none other than my future husband, Gary Allan.....I'll give you a few pictures of him because who can stop at just one.

And last but not least....the Sunday before Christmas we headed up the road a little ways and took the dogs to the snow. It was Cody's first time...and he loved it.Here is Attie catching a snow ball.....look closely at her mouth, can you see the white?

Meanwhile...the boys found a hill to sled down.
Jim found a stuck van....and helped them get it out of the snow. Then the boys attached some ropes to the back of the truck and we pulled them for a little ways.
After driving just a little further we found another place for the dogs to run and the boys to sled....

As you can tell by the end of the day the dogs were completely wiped out...So I will leave you with a few gorgeous pics of the view....this is one of the reasons I love California!

Oh...and one more thing, DH drew this in the side of a snow embankment. Awwww! What a sweetheart.....in case you can't read it (it's hard in the snow), it says Jim heart Rhonda
