Bed Time.....

That's all you have to say to my babies for them to know exactly what to do. Cody is usually outside

and Attie is usually curled up under the end table in the living room

and when bed time comes......all I have to say is "Cody, Attie....it's bed time" and they head straight for the bedroom. Attie might take a little coaxing if she is extremely comfortable but Cody just gets up, comes through the doggie door and proceeds to trot down the hall to the bed. The dogs have a very nice big comfortable doggie bed that is on the floor but do you think that is where I find them once I get into the bedroom, no...of course not, because they always beat me there here's what I find.

Now just how comfortable does Attie look?

Awwww Ma....do I have to move?

Can't you and daddy sleep on that nice comfortable bed you put on the floor?

As you can tell by looking at my bed I thought that I was pretty smart about keeping my comforter clean and free of dog hair by putting the sheet over it at the bottom of the bed.....Cody knows where he is supposed to be if he is sleeping on the bed, Attie still thinks she's the queen bee and the pillows are so much more comfortable for her precious head to lay on. Now somewhere in that bed DH and I still need to lay....lol. Usually Attie gives up the bed for the doggie bed once we climb in but Cody stays right where he is. However, some time in the middle of the night they trade places because when we wake up in the morning Cody is on the doggie bed and Attie is on our bed at our feet.....at least they share : )
