Kyrah's 1st trip to the State Fair

Wahoooo...the state fair is in town. I love the State Fair...the food, the rides, the food, the drinks, the food, the animals....and did I mention the food? Yummmmmmy!!! Thank goodness the fair isn't here year round because I would surely weigh a ton by now. Every August the State Fair of CA comes to Sacramento and for 2 weeks the town is bursting with visitors that come just to go to the fair......thankfully I live here so I get to visit it frequently each year, if I can manage to drag DH that is. I think that I was well into my 20's before I realized the people really do travel from all over the state for this event....I honestly thought it was just a local thing.

So this past Friday the state fair opened and will close on Labor day. My whole family went on opening day....except me because I had to work, boooo! This year was the first year that Kyrah (my niece) was big enough to really enjoy it....and go on the rides. Based on the pictures it sure looks like she had a blast!

I would say that Kyrah definately enjoyed herself....wouldn't you? : )
