Summerfest 2007

Last Friday we went to Summerfest 2007, which is an end of the summer carnival in Rancho Murieta. Since my sister lives there we were able to go with her and her husband. There weren't too many carnival rides but my favorite local band, Hip Service was there. I seriously love this band.....I have seen them at some local bars and other outdoor events. I was so excited to be able to see them again!! They also played a wedding up in Tahoe on my wedding day....was it supposed to be mine and they got lost? Seriously...what are the chances that my favorite local band was in my wedding destination on my wedding day playing someone else's wedding?



Then DH decided that he would go on the Zipper with Tony. I used to love that ride but there came a day when I was just too old to do that kind of spinning. DH actually didn't do too badly.....at least he didn't lose his dinner.





He didn't look too good though when he came off the ride....what do ya think?


Tony is quite amused at DH's reaction to the ride.

But all in all it was a good time.......of course DH didn't go on anymore rides after that. LOL!
